Information Technology and Publication
(IT-P) Committee
The Information technology and publication Prefects was first introduced to the MP's and Prefects system in March 2008. The first batch of IT-P prefects 2008/2009 consisted of 12 members. 6 Boys & 6 Girls whom each and every one have the knowledge and experience in Computing, Media and Publication.The IT-P prefects of 09/10, the second batch, consisted of 6 members, 3 Boys & 3 Girls and he third batch of IT-P prefects of 10/11 consisted of 7 members, 3 boys & 4 girls.
The New IT-P prefects of 2011/2012 consist of 7 members.5 boys and 2 girls. This year, in collaboration with IT-P prefects,The
Student Affairs have introduced the branch of Prefect of Photography to the system.
Our main duties or responsibilities are as follows:
• Prepare Backdrops and Powerpoint slides for every school event and control the slides.
• Producing Slideshow Videos
• In charge of the Over-head Projectors and Screen in the Auditorium
• Create a website for the prefects. (MD E-board)
• Create a newsletter / bulletin.( E-News)
• To take Pictures on every Event. (Photography)
• Help other commitees in any other event that involves computers and Audio system.
• Observe and advice those students who are breaking the rules in the ICT labs.
• Check the equipments that are in the ICT lab. E.g. OHP, Mac books, Desktop PC.
• AOB.
Today, Thursday (07.01.10), we had our first event of the year in the Auditorium to celebrate the new year of Hijrah.
All the muslim students of Maktab Duli were asked to attend this event that was held at 2pm till 3pm today to listen to our guess speaker, Ustazah Hjh Rogayah binti Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Hj Abdul Wahid. The talk was mainly about how to be healthy and how to take care of ourselves religiously.

Please be informed that VIP's day is as scheduled below:
Day/Date: Monday, 23rd November 2009 Time: 8.00 am to 11.30 am Venue: Auditorium, Maktab Duli PMAMB
This is a once a year occasion for our parents to meet our Subject Tutors and an opportunity for both parties to discuss your academic performance throughout the year.
You were given an appointment form from your Tutor Groups Teachers for you to make an arrangement to see the Subject Tutors. Please bear in mind that there are also other parents for the appointments. The time given may not be as you and your parents had requested but we will try our best to accommodate it.
The Dos and Don'ts for students
Cooperate and team work within your Tutor Group is expected of you.
Make appointments with your Subject Tutors as soon as possible.
If you and your parents / guardian want ti discuss on your future career prospects during your VIP's day, do make an appointment with Ck. Nur Adyani Binti Hj Yusof or any of the Higher Education Unit Officers in advance.
Your parents / guardian musk keep to all appointments.
If your parents / guardians cannot make it to the appointments, please be inform your teachers well in advance.
On the VIP's day, bring your parents / guardian to the teachers' table at the time agreed upon.
If your parents / guardian do not speak or understand English, you can bring along your elder brother or sister who speaks English to be their interpreter. If you want, you can be the interpreter.
Serve your parents / guardian some snacks and srinks anytime during their meeting with your teachers.
After having seen all your teachers and the Higher Education Unit Officer, your parents / guardian may leave the auditorium.
You were expected to be with your parents / guardian throughout the whole meeting.
Do contribute positively towards the discussion.
Do not hesitate to discuss your difficulties and problems in your subjects or in the hostel (if hostellites) with your teachers and warden respectively.
No unpleasant confrontation or heated argument is allowed during your parents' discussion with your teachers.
Let us all cooperate to make the VIP's meeting a success. Should there be any problem, please come and see the acting principle, Dayang Hajah Seroja binti Haji Siau. One important thing that is needed to be stress here: the College would like all parents / guardian to attend this one important occasion of your academic life.
According to the Administrations, the Medical Screening is gonna be held everyday now and then until further notice. So please your parents to drop you off straight to the auditorium, and to avoid traffic, please come early. =)
Some of the Maktab Duli PMAMB's sites especially the eca clubs are restricted to the MD-ians only.
Therefore a password is acquired to get into the site. And please be reminded that the password will be reset/changed at every 2 months.
