Information Technology and Publication
(IT-P) Committee
The Information technology and publication Prefects was first introduced to the MP's and Prefects system in March 2008. The first batch of IT-P prefects 2008/2009 consisted of 12 members. 6 Boys & 6 Girls whom each and every one have the knowledge and experience in Computing, Media and Publication.The IT-P prefects of 09/10, the second batch, consisted of 6 members, 3 Boys & 3 Girls and he third batch of IT-P prefects of 10/11 consisted of 7 members, 3 boys & 4 girls.
The New IT-P prefects of 2011/2012 consist of 7 members.5 boys and 2 girls. This year, in collaboration with IT-P prefects,The
Student Affairs have introduced the branch of Prefect of Photography to the system.
Our main duties or responsibilities are as follows:
• Prepare Backdrops and Powerpoint slides for every school event and control the slides.
• Producing Slideshow Videos
• In charge of the Over-head Projectors and Screen in the Auditorium
• Create a website for the prefects. (MD E-board)
• Create a newsletter / bulletin.( E-News)
• To take Pictures on every Event. (Photography)
• Help other commitees in any other event that involves computers and Audio system.
• Observe and advice those students who are breaking the rules in the ICT labs.
• Check the equipments that are in the ICT lab. E.g. OHP, Mac books, Desktop PC.
• AOB.
This is to inform all members of staff, students and parents that the Parent Teachers Association of Maktab Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah (Persatuan Ibu Bapa Guru Maktab Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah) is organizing a Logo Design Competition for the Parent Teacher Association.
The competition is open to all member of staff, students and parents. The following are the guidelines to the competition:
The design of the new logo should incorporate the College Logo.
Description of the logo must also be included.
A 'slogan' shall accompany the logo (description to be included).
The logo and slogan (with their description) must be printed on an A4 paper and a soft copy is to be submitted in a CD format.
Participants are allowed to submit more than one entry per person.
Entry forms are available at the admin clerks.
All entries must be submitted to the secretary of PIBG Maktab Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah (Cikgu Hjh Amal Nuriyah Binti Haji Ahmad Kumpoh) before 20th August 2009. Entries can also be submitted online at pibgmd@gmail.com
The winner of the Logo Design Competition shall receive $100 cash prize. Result of the winning design shall be announced by 1st September 2009.

Starting next week on every Monday & Thursday, the MPIs have requested us by joining and bringing our friends to the surau for Sembahyang Hajat, Reading of Yaasin and Doa tolak bala. This is for the reasons of H1N1, and it is best for us to pray together so that this virus wont spread any further and to hope for the best of us students and teachers. :)
The event will only be on MONDAY & THURSDAYS, 2.45pm at the respective surau. We are expected to come at 2.30pm if possible.
And also,
Prefects and students are welcome to join the 4 MPs, MPIs and the Alquran club in reading the Surah Yaasin, everyday, 6.45am at the VIP room.

According to the Administrations, the Medical Screening is gonna be held everyday now and then until further notice. So please your parents to drop you off straight to the auditorium, and to avoid traffic, please come early. =)
Announcement To All CCA/Sports Teachers-in-charge & Students
You can carry out your CCA/Sports activities as usual. However please observe the following:
Activities conducted outside the school's campus are to be put on hold till further notice.
Any trainers who are invited are to be screened first before conducting their sessions with students.
Students are to liase with teachers-in-charge for any activities that are to be carried out.
Booking of Sport Venues (gym, track&field etc) is ONLY made by respective teachers-in-charge.
Activities can only be done in the afternoon after your lecture (2-4.30pm). If students go beyond this time, consult Head of Sports and Head of CCA or go direct to the teachers-in-charge for advice.
Please wear decent (proper) sports/cca attire.
The CCA/Sports Section is run by the following officers:
Cg. Hj Juma'ata Sonadey bin Hj Mornie, Assistant-Senior Master (Room A11 Admin Block ir Geo Staffroom). See him for any cca and sports matters, especially when seeking clarification on the college's cca/sports issues and policies.
Cg. Pg Ali Syafie bin Pg Hj Abas, Head of Sports (Room A10 Admin Block or Room 17 Gym). See him for any sports matters.
Cg. Armacester binti Arsad, Head of CCA (Room A11 Admin block or Arts Room). See her for non-sports matters (clubs other than sports).
Some of the Maktab Duli PMAMB's sites especially the eca clubs are restricted to the MD-ians only.
Therefore a password is acquired to get into the site. And please be reminded that the password will be reset/changed at every 2 months.
