Saturday, 17th January 2009.
A religious talk was held for all upper sixth students in the college auditorium. A representative from the Ministry of Islamic affairs was invited to be the speaker for the afternoon’s event. The talk was in conjunction with the recent Tahun Baru Hijrah’s celebration.

General Assembly of 2009
Tuesday, 6th January 2009.
A General Assembly was held today. It is the first assembly held for this new year, 2009. the assembly was done to welcoming back the student from the long holiday in December last year. A video of the last year activities was shown to the MDians, the Reflection of 2008.

Prefect Appreciation Day

Sunday, 4th January 2009.Prefect Appreciation Day was held on 4th January ,2009, at the Airport Restaurant, RBC. It was done to honour their contributions that they had made during their services to the school before they were transferred to the new school, Pusat Tingkatan Enam Katok. Activities were also done by each committee before singing their final College Song and the Family Song in the end of the function.

Happy New Year 2009
Monday, 12th January 2009.Today is the second week of school being reopened and already twelve days of the new year. We hoped its still not to late to say HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009 , Happy Maal Hijrah 1430 and welcome back to school to all MDians.Do you have any new resolution for this year? And before answering that, have you resolve your last year resolution(s)? So anyway, may we be a better a person this year. Hijrah from a worse to a better, and a better to a more better person.Today, MD received about 85 students back from Katok after appealing due to some reasons. Things changed as time goes by during the first of the week until today. The first day showed that the school was very quite as half of the students had tranferred to the new opened school in Katok. There were very few students in the library during their respective PS, and also during break and lunch at the Dining Hall and Canteen.During the second day, about 20 students (all computing students) were transferred back to MD. It is said that, there were computing labs but there still havent have computers and the internet connection, and also there's no computing teacher to teach them.And a few day after that, a few number of students and parents coming to see the Principal to appeal to come back to MD. At which, today 85 students were the result.A reminder to all the students, do not forget your studies because this will be your final year in MD and AS Exam is only a few months away.
