Sunburst Youth Camp 2008

Khamis, 6 Zulhijjah 1949M bersamaan dengan 4hb Disember 2008.
Majlis Doa Selamat dan Penyerahan Bendera Negara Brunei Darussalam bagi Delegasi Brunei ke Sunburst Youth Camp ke Singapura telah selamat disempurnakan di Auditorium Maktab Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah, Gadong.
Majlis tersebut telah dihadiri oleh
Tetamu Kehormat Majlis,
Cikgu Hajah Aishah binti Haji Muhd Husain, Pengarah Sekolah-Sekolah, Kementerian Pendidikan, Negara Brunei Darussalam. Turut diundang juga adalah Pengetua Maktab Duli PMAMB, Pengarah Sekolah-Sekolah, Pensyarah-Pensyarah dan Kakitangan Maktab Duli PMAMB, Para Media serta IbuBapa daripada Delegasi.
Majlis tersebut telah dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan Doa Selamat. Di mana yang kemudiannya diikuti dengan tayangan slideshow biografi dan aktiviti-aktiviti daripada para Delagasi. Delegasi ini akan di jaga di bawah Pimpinan
Cikgu Hajah Amal Nuriyah binti Haji Ahmad Kumpoh, Pegawai Pelajaran, Maktab Duli PMAMB. Manakala bagi Delegasi ini,
Norul AlHakim bin Awang Pandin (MDPMAMB) akan mengetuai rombongan tersebut di Singapura nanti dan manakala
Evelyn Margaret Heng (SM Sayidina Ali) telah dilantik sebagai penolong beliau. Para delegasi yang lain adalah terdiri daripada
Abdul Azim bin Dr Hj Abdul Kassim (MDPMAMB), Amirul Hamizan bin Awang Hamzah (PTEB - MDPMAMB), Hilmi bin Matsani (SM Sayidina Othman), Nurul Syifa binti Haji Jamahat (MDPMAMB-JIS), Nurul Syaffeenazz binti Haji Abdul Tahir (SM Sayidina Othman) dan Siti Nur 'Arifah binti Haji Suhaimi (Maktab Sains PSBS).Kemudian Para Tetamu yang hadir telah dihiburkan dengan Tarian Zapin dan Tarian Dang Mengalai yang telah dipersembahkan oleh Para Delegasi. Sebelum Mengakhiri Majlis, Sesi Bergambar telah diadakan sebelum menikmati jamuan ringan.
Rombongan Delegasi tersebut akan berlepas meninggalkan Negara Brunei Darussalam menuju ke Singapura bagi Acara Sunburst Youth Camp tersebut pada pagi Ahad ini, 7hb Disember 2008, jam 6.30pagi. Acara tersebut akan berlangsung di Singapura di antara 7hb - 13hb Disember 2008.

Academic Award for Lower Sixth 2008

The
Academic Award for Lower Sixth 2008 was held today in the Auditorium. The Function was attend by the
Guest of Honour,
Awang Haji Abd Rahim bin Derus, Pemangku Pengarah Teknologi Maklumat dan Komunikasi, Jabatan Teknologi Maklumat dan Komunikasi, Kementerian Pendidikan.The Function was started with the recitation of Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat. And then, the singing of the National Anthem, the College Song and the Family Song led by the Choir Team. Next was another performance, Dikir Dibaie and Syarafil Anam by the Islamic Student Councils and the Al-Quran Club. And then, the Principal make the opening speech and followed by the Guest of Honour.
Later, the handing of Certificates and Awards to the Best Students was done. And after that, the guests were entertained by the Performance of the Traditional Dance. And before the function was ended, the handing of Certificates and Awards to the ECA clubs were also done.

Oratory Competition
Wednesday, 26th November 2008.
The
Oratory Competition Final Round has been held today in the Auditorium. before this, the elimination round was held in both LT.11 and LT.12 on 22nd November 2008. Both the English and the Malay Categories were finalised today. It was a tough competition as all the contestants were giving a perfect speech and awesome ideas and thus making the judges having a hard time to choose the winner, and here are the results:
