Information Technology and Publication
(IT-P) Committee
The Information technology and publication Prefects was first introduced to the MP's and Prefects system in March 2008. The first batch of IT-P prefects 2008/2009 consisted of 12 members. 6 Boys & 6 Girls whom each and every one have the knowledge and experience in Computing, Media and Publication.The IT-P prefects of 09/10, the second batch, consisted of 6 members, 3 Boys & 3 Girls and he third batch of IT-P prefects of 10/11 consisted of 7 members, 3 boys & 4 girls.
The New IT-P prefects of 2011/2012 consist of 7 members.5 boys and 2 girls. This year, in collaboration with IT-P prefects,The
Student Affairs have introduced the branch of Prefect of Photography to the system.
Our main duties or responsibilities are as follows:
• Prepare Backdrops and Powerpoint slides for every school event and control the slides.
• Producing Slideshow Videos
• In charge of the Over-head Projectors and Screen in the Auditorium
• Create a website for the prefects. (MD E-board)
• Create a newsletter / bulletin.( E-News)
• To take Pictures on every Event. (Photography)
• Help other commitees in any other event that involves computers and Audio system.
• Observe and advice those students who are breaking the rules in the ICT labs.
• Check the equipments that are in the ICT lab. E.g. OHP, Mac books, Desktop PC.
• AOB.

the Nippon Maru will be in Muara port in Brunei Darussalam from Thursday 6th November to Sunday 9th November 2008 as part of the Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program (SSEAYP).
The Homestay Program of this year's SSEAYP will be held in Brunei from 7th to 9th November, 2008. Bersatu Association has been given the task to organise the Homestay Program this year.
If you are interested in hosting at least 2 youths (between age 18-30) as part of the Homestay Program this year, we would love to hear from you.
Becoming a host family includes inviting the youths tto stay in your home for the three days and two nights of the "homestay". During that time, you will be the youths "family" and will introduce to the youths the Bruneian way of life.
Deadline for registration is the 31st October 2008.

• Students are to go for morning registration at their respective classes at 7.30am. • There will be no lessons on that day. • This celebration is just for LOWER SIXTH STUDENTS ONLY. • For male students – Baju cara Melayu with Songkok. • For female students – Baju kurung WITH tudung. • For non-Muslim students – you are encouraged to wear the above-mentioned attire, otherwise full college uniform. • Bring your food and drinks, and decorations for your BE’s Houses table as there will be a competition on the most Beautiful BE decorations and it includes how you welcome and serve the visitors (ie. The Teachers). • Tentative program:- - 7.45am – 8.00am: Students to go to Dining Hall - 8.00am – 8.20am: Arrival of Principal and Teachers - 8.20am onwards: -College Song -Opening speech by the Principal and the YDP 08/09 -Performances by CCA Clubs/ Prefects/ Hostellites -Activities/ Competitions for teachers -Cake-cutting ceremony -Raya visit to BE houses -Prize Award Ceremony • Any enquiries, please do not hesitate to ask any member of the Student Council.

Sempena di bulan yang mulia ini, Pihak Maktab telah mengadakan Majlis Penyampaian Derma Kepada Penuntut-Penuntut yang telah kehilangan Ayah mereka. Majlis penyampaian derma tersebut telah diselajurkan dengan Majlis Bacaan Tahlil. Majlis tersebut telah diadakan pada 13hb September 2008M bersamaan dengan 12hb Ramadhan 1429H di Bilik Persidangan, Maktab Duli PMAMB. Hadir di majlis tersebut adalah Cikgu Hajah Seroja binti Haji Siau, Pemangku Pengetua MDPMAMB, selaku Tetamu Kehormat Majlis. Tetamu lain yang turut hadir adalah terdiri dari Pensyarah-Pensyarah, Guru-Guru, Kakitangan-Kakitangan Maktab, Prefeks-Prefeks dan juga Penuntut-Penuntut yang terlibat.
Bagi Memulakan Majlis, Ustaz Haji Zulkifli telah mengetuai Bacaan Tahlil dan juga bacaan doa Selamat. Kemudian majlis tersebut diteruskan lagi dengan penyampaian derma kepada anak-anak yatim yang disampaikan oleh Pemangku Pengetua, Cikgu Hajah Seroja binti Haji Siau. Seramai lebih daripada 80 orang penuntut telah hadir bagi penerimaan derma tersebut. Sebelum mengakhiri majlis, sesi bergambar Penuntut dengan Pemangku Pengetua telah diadakan bagi kenangan maktab.
All MPs, MPIs & Prefects are compulsory to come. About 130 voluntary students are needed. Those students who are interested can write their name on the list on the MPs’ Board. First Come First Serve. (:
Majlis tersebut diadakan pada 28 Rejab 1429H bersamaan dengan 31hb Julai 2008M di Auditorium Maktab Duli PMAMB. Tetamu kehormat majis tersebut merupakan selaku Ahli Mesyuarat Negara iaitu Yang Berhormat Penghulu Hj Bakar bin Mansor. Majlis tersebut dimulakan dengan bacaan surah Al-Fatihah oleh tetamu kehormat majlis seterusnya bacaan surah Ad-Duha hingga Surah An-Nas yang telah dibacakan oleh para peserta khatam. Seterusnya bacaan Takhtim disampaikan oleh pelajar-pelajar perempuan Asrama Puteri yang diketuai oleh Nurul Nadzirah Binte Simpon dan Nurul Ikthma Binte Muncit. Doa khatam Al-Quran dibacakan olej Hj Nasrul Fakhri Bin Haji Yahya, dan diikuti oleh dikir Marhaban oleh pelajar-pelajar lelaki Asrama Putera yang diketuai oleh Md Norsafarizan bin Haji Awang.
Sebagai penutup majlis Khatam Al-Quran tersebut, bacaan doa selamat dibacakan oleh Ustadz Syed Mohsen bin Syed Abd Rahman Al-Kaff dan seterusnya acara bergambar beramai-ramai bersama tetamu kehormat serta isteri, pihak pentadbiran dan furu-guru tasmie’ Al-Quran dan peserta khatam.
Pertandingan Azan Suboh & Menghafal Surah Yaasin serta Perasmian Kempen Kebersihan

Pertandingan tersebut diadakan pada 12hb Julai 2008 di Auditorium Maktab Duli PMAMB. Tetamu kehormat majlis tersebut, Timbalan Pengetua Akademik Cg Munah Hj Yahya. Bacaan surah al-Fatihah dibacakan oleh Naib Yang Di-Pertua 1 (MPI), Azizi fakhri bin Noor Azalie sebagai pembukaan majlis tersebut, diikuti pula dengan ucapan yang disampaikan oleh tetamu kehormat majlis, dan seterusnya pertandingan dimulakan dengah pertandingan azan subuh.
Kategori Azan Subuh dimenangi oleh Md Fawzan bin Hj Abu Kassim, dari BE24manakala Kategori menghafaz Surah Yasin dimenangi oleh Dk. Hjh Siti Nurazirah bte Pg Hj Besar, dari AE3.
Maktab Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah, through its Higher Education Unit, recently organised and conducted the 2nd OXBRIDGE roadshow at the College auditorium on Wednesday 4th Syaaban 1429, 6th August 2008 at 1.30 pm. The Guest of Honour for the roadshow was Yang Mulia Awang Haji Abdul Aji Bin Haji Ishak, the Head of Special Education Unit, Ministry of Education.
Selected students from 6th form institutions were invited to attend the roadshow. And as a development from last year's roadshow, this year Maktab Duli has also invited 5th form students from secondary schools within the catchment area of the College.
The speakers for the roadshow were :

These speakers are all holders of the Ministry of Education's Scholarship.
Some of the Maktab Duli PMAMB's sites especially the eca clubs are restricted to the MD-ians only.
Therefore a password is acquired to get into the site. And please be reminded that the password will be reset/changed at every 2 months.
